my hack for actually finishing the project
I recently began a series of audio messages to you…
Each one focuses on how to handle the hard things you face in and around your home. Things like what to do with your old journals or the photos of your ex tucked in the back of your closet.
Last week, I talked about where to put the ashes of a loved one or pet. If you missed it, you can find it HERE.
This week, I’m giving you my single best advice for tackling the perpetual pile of papers on your kitchen counter, the basement full of your mother’s things, or the DIY project that’s gathered dust.
A heads up…
What I’m about to tell you is contrary to everything productivity experts will tell you.
It's also the one thing that's finally helped one of my clients sell a car she's been putting off for months.
Listen in…
NOW OVER TO YOU
What project or thing have you been procrastinating about in your home?
What's the very first step you can take in moving forward with it?
Let us know in the comments.

This is so helpful! I’m paring down a collection of glassware and got overwhelmed with the process of how to sell/donate some and display some. So I took a step back and just sorted what I want to keep and what I’d let go. That got the project rolling. Now I can say to my daughter, If I were to get rid of xyz would you be interested in it? No pressure on her and no disappointment on me if she says no!
Sometimes I think not tackling that pile is a form of regulation. IF I get through it, THEN I have to move forward in life. Sometimes that's so much for me. I love this suggestion, at least my toe is in the water.
